Tasting-Wilson Daniels Merlot

Name: Wilson Daniels Merlot
Variety: 100% Merlot
Region: Central Coast California
Country: USA
Price: $7.95
Year: 2010

Winery review: Made predominantly from Paso Robles grapes, the wine is full-bodied and silky yet robust, with aromas of black cherry and plum and a palate of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry jam laced with vanilla and toast.

My review: This wine has a blackberry and black cherry smell with a slight hint of smokiness on the nose. There is a black cherry taste to the wine. The wine has a very strong smoke taste to it, which I'm not a huge fan of. This wine is okay.

I did not try this wine with food.
